This Cookie Policy is closely linked to our Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. The three documents apply together and should be read together - please take a moment to read the other two as well.
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. SharpTips uses a small, deliberately minimal set. The cookies listed below as "strictly necessary" are needed to make the site work, so they do not require your permission under UK/EU cookie law (PECR/GDPR).
On your first visit we ask whether you also accept analytics and marketing cookies. We do not currently set any analytics, advertising or tracking cookies - your choice is recorded so that, if we add such tools in future, they will only ever run for visitors who have said yes. Our visitor statistics (Vercel Web Analytics) are cookieless: they count page views without storing anything in your browser and without identifying you. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Push notifications
If you opt in to alerts from your account page, your browser creates a push subscription (not a cookie) that we store so we can send you alerts about new predictions. This only happens if you actively enable it, and you can turn it off at any time from the same place, or by blocking notifications for sharptips.co.uk in your browser settings.
Managing cookies
You can change your analytics and marketing choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Because the cookies we currently set are strictly necessary for the site to function, blocking them in your browser will likely break login, checkout and other core features. You can still clear or block cookies at any time through your browser's settings - see your browser's help pages for how.
